Move For Hunger with Allied Van Lines
Allied Van Lines is proud to be a corporate level partner of Move For Hunger since 2011. Move For Hunger works with moving companies to pick up unwanted, unopened/non-perishable food from those who are relocating and deliver it to local food banks across the country.
“Fighting hunger is not just an American issue, but a global one,” said Adam Lowy, founder of Move for Hunger. “Allied is one of the few moving companies that not only has the resources, but the network to help us make an impact beyond our borders and that excites us."
Allied Van Lines has a growing list of agents participating in the Move For Hunger program and will plan to integrate efforts through local food drives and its corporate service centers to collect food year round. Allied has been fortunate to have been able to collect and donate food to centers around the country and look forward to donating more with the help of our customers into the future.
We encourage our clients to ask their move consultant about this program and how they might be able to participate. To see more about the program and its history visit their website here.
